Omgeving

Zeeland is the Dutch province of wide stretches of water, green islands, dikes and dams,  and of course the sea. Holiday park ‘Schouwenduin’ is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Zeeland: the scenic nature reserves in the west of the island of Schouwen-Duiveland. Woods, dunes, sandy beaches and sea are within easy reach. The Zeeland beaches are both clean and sunny; on average 150 more sunny hours than the rest of Holland.

The area is ideal for active pursuits like walking, cycling, gliding, (midget) golf, swimming, sailing, wind- and kite surfing, buggy-kiting, fishing, diving etcetera.

But if you prefer to unwind, there is no better place to relax in front of your tent or caravan, at   an outdoor cafĂ©, on the beach or in nature. Or discover Zeeland’s rural villages and lively historic towns like Zierikzee, and the spectacular dikes, dams and locks of the ‘Delta werken’, famous sights in their own right.

And what about a daytrip to the nearby (water)theme park Neeltje Jans or across the Belgian border to great, famous Flemish attractions like the cities of Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent?
